For some time now at Panther Brewery we have been toying with the idea of producing an alcohol free beer, mainly because we simply don’t find many that we enjoy to drink and that none of the ones we do enjoy are bottle conditioned!
The concept of ‘alcohol free’ always seems awash with negative connotations in the UK, which is very interesting – if we look over the continent to Germany over 20% of beer laden shelf space is dedicated to low and alcohol free beers. It just makes sense… massive health benefits, reduced cost for the consumer, and an adult beverage that isn’t adulterated with vast amounts of sugar.
Coming back to ground in the UK, we feel the market is crying out for reduced alcohol products, and especially coming up to the festive season products such as this are all the more important. So let us proudly introduce Hopsta™ – a bottle conditioned alcohol free (<0.5%) pale ale. Full in flavour from an array of malts grown here in East Anglia, and packed full of German, USA, and UK hops. It is well balanced and easy drinking, for those times you want a refreshing beer with bite and no effects from alcohol.
Oh and it’s GLUTEN FREE – ENJOY!
