2016 has been a good year for us here at Panther Brewery. And as we reach the final quarter of the year it fills us with a great sense of pride to be nominated for Broadland District Council’s community at heart award in the ‘Business Community Support’ category.
The Broadland Community at Heart Awards’ eleven categories celebrate and reward those in the district’s communities who go above and beyond what is expected of them. Nominees are people or groups who have made an exceptional contribution to their communities, from achieving highly in sport to providing an important service to local people.
Panther Brewery has been nominated because of our support to local charities including The Stimpson’s Piece Trust through the Reepham Beer Festival and our sponsorship of the Reepham 10k race. The person who made our nomination also mentioned our efforts to ‘close the gap’ on waste through our relationship with local bakeries by brewing ‘Bread and Bitter.’
It has also been a good year for Reepham in the Community at heart awards as Norfolk Country Cottages has also been nominated for the ‘Business Community Support’ category and Edwin Rose has been has been nominated for the ‘Good Neighbour or Friend’ category. Congratulations and good luck to all those nominated for the various awards and in particular those flying the flag for Reepham! We are delighted to be nominated and a big thanks to our mysterious nominator.
