This year we are pleased to announce we will be releasing our charity beer ‘Paws For Thought’ in partnership with Nelsons Journeys
Nelsons Journeys mission is to increase the self-esteem, self-belief and wellbeing of bereaved children in Norfolk, by enabling families and wider society to talk openly about death and bereavement, and for children to express and understand emotions.
They have helped hundreds of children who have had to deal with the loss of a loved one and help them come to terms with this via acting as a safe place for them to feel comfortable and talk about whatever is on their minds.
You can find out more about the great work they do on their website at nelsonsjourney.org.uk
Through donations from people and businesses Nelsons Journey are able to provide this valuable service.
We at Panther Brewery believe the work Nelsons Journey do is outstanding and have decided to release our charity beer ‘Paws For Thought’ to help raise awareness and funds for their course.
Paws For thought is a golden orange coloured pale ale with subtle hints of bitter seville oranges and citrus notes. The low level of bitterness makes this a refreshing beer that leaves a gently bitter sweet finish.
We plan to release the beer in both cask and bottles and should start appearing in pubs and shops soon. Several of the pubs have generously allowed us to display Nelsons Journeys collection tins and all donated money will go directly to them. On top of that we will be donating a portion of proceeds. So remember the more beer you buy the more you donate to charity – Win win!
Don’t forget to keep an eye out for the markets we regularly attend as the bottles will be available to buy throughout spring and summer. As always you can buy the bottles direct from the brewery shop along with the rest of the Panther range.
